At a time when we are all experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic, generosity is what brings us together. Generosity gives you the power to make a positive change in the lives of others, and serves as a fundamental value we can all act upon.

People can support Volunteers of America, Utah in a variety of ways during #GivingTuesdayNow. Whether it’s sewing masks, delivering food to program facilities, or making a donation, every act of generosity counts. Today places an emphasis on opportunities to give back to communities in ways that allow for social connection even while practicing physical distancing. To give today, visit voaut.org/donate to help Utah’s most vulnerable.

As a global community, we can mourn this moment of extreme crisis while also finding opportunities to support one another. We each have the power to make an impact with acts of generosity, no matter how small, and ensure the most vulnerable members of our community have access to essential services.

#GivingTuesdayNow is a chance to stand united and use grassroots generosity to show that we are all in this together. It is important to remember that as many face financial uncertainty, generosity is not about size — every act of kindness is a beacon of hope during a crisis. Everyone has something to give, and every act of kindness matters. Visit voaut.org to see how you can give today.

The global generosity movement, GivingTuesday, was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day to encourage people to do good.

Over the past eight years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires millions to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Tomorrow, a very special GivingTuesday is taking place: #GivingTuesdayNow#GivingTuesdayNow is an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. A threat like COVID-19 affects more than just the infected — this pandemic touches every person in our community, and we must come together to support one another.

Your donation to Volunteers of America, Utah is the most flexible way for us to respond to the ever changing needs caused by COVID-19.
